Golden Globes Afterglow

Updated: Jun 8, 2018

#goldenglobes #metoo

Award shows are long and usually irrelevant for me.  The Golden Globes have taken over social media today and used power and platform to let viewers know that everyday people experience harassment (and don’t  forget bullying) too.  It was important to let everyone hear that it’s not just happening in Hollywood, but unfortunately everyday people are impacted by celebrity  experiences, just not the best experiences! They have more resources whether they use them or not.   I am in  at least two FB groups related to Workplace Bullying in Higher Education, and Bullying and Discrimination in the Workplace.  Use the resources that you have.   You are your best investment. It is good to know that silence is no longer expected.
